I love everything about Speedy’s, this is my go to spot in Lexington when I want good chili cheese fries and a dog e cheeseburger. The food is excellent and the staff are great. BBQ is great along with the salads and desserts.

The best around. You get your money's worth. We ordered 2 plates and it was so much food we had to ask for 3 to-go boxes. Everyone was so friendly! Extra napkins, sauce, drinks, and dip bowls were provided without having to ask.

The finely chopped BBQ is delicious and the slaw is strong but that hits the spot for me. Beans are good and crinkle cut fries are better than expected. The restaurant is a little small for the amount of people they serve but they make up for it by turning tables quick, parking lot was overflowing and cars were lined up on the side of the road at lunch but they had the food moving quick. Best BBQ in Lexington and there is strong competition.

One thing about speedy's they have good service, this is my go to place call barbecue, they also have skins for sale. And I'd like to put skin on to my barbecue sandwich. I have been here like three times and they never disappointed me yet, the menu has good options, the food has always been tasty and my fries are always hot, plus you get your money's worth, I got the barbecue sandwich and fried lunch special I believe it was around $8. Go check them out you won't be disappointed tell them I sent you there.

Great Carolina BBQ joint! Large portions and good prices for the quality and flavor of food! Very tender meat as well! Nice lunch pit stop driving back to Charlotte after a weekend in Durham.

Great atmosphere delicious food wonderful service. Not to mention that if you order the larger plate it will feed 2-3 people. Will definitely return the next time I am in the area.

Amazing barbecue exclusively sold by the mound. Felt like three metric tons for 12.75. Wait staff was on point never letting the suffering of an empty glass be known. Location has changed since my childhood but the rest of the nostalgia bomb remained.
